When is the Vendor Area on lock-down? 2018-03-09T18:46:54+00:00

Vendors and Exhibitors will not be able to access their booth space from 8 pm on Friday (June 29th) until 6 am Saturday (June 30th)  AND from 7 pm on Saturday (June 30th) until 7 am on Sunday (July 1st).  Security will have the premise locked down and the building will be empty for the safety and security of everyone’s personal property.

What are the Vendor setup hours of the Washington State Toy & Geek Festival? 2018-03-09T18:41:13+00:00

Setup hours are 10 am-8 pm on Friday, June 29th AND 6 am – 8 am on Saturday, June 30th for Load-in.   All booths and exhibits must be complete and ready by 8:30 am on Saturday.

The event hours are 9 am – 6 pm on Saturday and 9 am – 5 pm on Sunday.

We believe that artists should have the same opportunities as anyone else and shouldn’t be placed in a secluded section. You will notice that the artists, authors, craftsman, vendors, exhibitors, and others are all dispersed throughout the show floor. This is intentional as it provides you, the attendee, a much more diverse experience and opportunities to see items and discover new talents that you may miss with the traditional convention show floor.

Q: What are the hours of the Washington State Toy & Geek Festival?
A: Vendor/Exhibitor hours are 10 am-8 pm on Friday June 29th for Load-in. 6 am-7 pm on Saturday to allow for additional load-in time and load-out. 6 am-6 pm on Sunday.   Attendees’ hours are 9 am-6 pm on Saturday and 9 am-5 pm on Sunday.

Q: How big is the Washington State Toy & Geek Festival?
A: In 2017 the Washington State Toy & Geek Festival was held on one day in about 10,000 square feet and had more than 2,000 attendees and about 30 vendors. For 2018 it has expanded dramatically to a two-day event, more than 120,000 total square feet, approximately 350 vendors and exhibitors, celebrity guests, panels, comic book guests, interactive displays, lots of photo ops, and more!

Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Only State Approved Companion/Working animals are allowed.

Q: What is the Washington State Toy & Geek Festival?
A: Washington State Toy & Geek Festival is not a convention. It is a gathering of toy, comic, movie, television show, collectibles, and other geeky and nerdy individuals in a celebration styled show. T&GF delivers the best that the PNW offers and caters to fans of all genres, ages, and demographics.  This show is designed around the Attendees experience with quality and interactive content designed to provide a safe and celebratory experience to the different fandoms

Q: What if I get hurt or require any type of assistance?
A:. The staff at the Washington State Toy & Geek Festival is there to help. Each section will have personnel assigned to assist with first aid, security, booth concerns, questions, lost items, and any other issues that may arise. Our professional and courteous staff makes the vendors, exhibitors, and attendees their priority with safety being the most paramount followed by ensuring an environment that promotes friendliness and fun.

Q: What is someone is purchasing a lot of stuff at the show?
A: The Washington State Toy & Geek Festival will have a bag/coat check that will have bins for rent. Anyone can add to, or take from, these bins at anytime by going to the Check-In station. When the show is all done getting all the booty home is easy because you can just purchase the bin and its already all packed!

Q: Will I be on camera?
A: The short answer is yes. Because of the nature of the show hundreds of people will be taking photos and short videos to post to their various social media accounts and to share with family and friends. Likewise, our staff will be taking photos and shooting videos for promotional use. YouTubers, celebrity guests, and others will also be recording with various methods as well.  Chances are you might end up photographed or videoed.

Additionally, we will have a large interactive video section that will live-stream updates from people’s social media accounts that use our advertised hashtags. For more information see our Policies Page.

Q: When can vendors and exhibitors secure booth space?
A: The vendor application for the Washington State Toy & Geek Festival goes live on Saturday January 13th. It will close after Memorial Day Weekend so that we can take the next few days and get all final assignments in place and publish the floor layout with enough time to allow for marketing and promotion by the vendors and exhibitors. January will reflect early-bird pricing and all booths convert to standard pricing on February 1st.

Q: When can guests order tickets?
A: Attendee tickets will go on sale starting February 1st and go all the way to show time. Tickets can also be purchased at the entrance to the show.

Q: Can I get extra badges for my booth?
A: Yes, extra badges are $50 each and can be purchased when submitting your application. If you need them after you have submitted your application just contact us and we will be happy to work with you.

Q: Can I bring a coffee pot, refrigerator, or other electronic items to my booth?
A: No, many of these items are potential safety and fire risks. Due to fire and safety regulations all items must be approved by Management prior to the show and in written format.

Q: I am having trouble with my online vendor application. Can you help me?
A: Yes, please send an email to us from the Contact Us link with a brief description of your trouble(s) and we will contact you to assist.

Q: Will there be food and beverages available on site?
A: Unlike last year there will be a wide variety of options for our vendors and attendees this year! We will have the full food court open in side the show with seating for over 500 people.  The offerings will include Pizza, Burgers, Fisher Scones, and a Pub/Beer Garden (over 21 only).  More booths may be added as we near the event.

Q: Because I don’t want to leave my booth for too long, will I have preferred treatment to visit the celebrity guests and features?
A: No; however, all photo and signature opportunities with celebrities will be given a short queue window so that no one is standing in line for hours on end. Any photo or signature ops must be purchased by vendors and exhibitors the same as attendees. Celebrities and Guests do have free time during the show and if they so choose to walk about that is solely their discretion, so you may see them at your booth. If you do please be courteous and say hello.
